Brief outline
Started in 2018 and is ongoing.
The Energy Efficiency Program for Public Buildings (PEEB) project aims to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings throughout the Country. PEEB supports the National Energy Management Agency (ANME) in improving the existing legal framework through training and advice on building
code enforcement for municipal employees and a legal review of building code requirements and enforcement mechanisms. PEEB also supports the improvement of data on building stock and energy performance.
(PEEB) is currently funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), the French Ministère de la Transition écologique et solidaire (MTES), Agence Française de Development (AFD) and the Fonds français pour l’environnement mondial (FFEM).
