Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF)
Brief outline
GEFF is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and supported by the European Union (EU) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
Under GEFF, a Green Value Chain (GVC) credit line has been established to provide finance and advice for private sector SMEs to support their competitiveness and growth by strengthening product quality, adding value, improving standards, and creating an enabling environment for exports. The facility supports CAPEX investments in general and gives a special emphasis on green technologies.
