Japanese Business Alliance for Smart Energy Worldwide (JASE-W)

Brief outline

Established on Oct. 30th, 2008, and has 45 corporate members (as of Oct. 2023). 

A platform for public-private partnerships that facilitates collaboration between its member countries and the public sector in Japan and overseas to comprehensively and practically support the development of energy-saving projects. Specifically, it: 

  1. Establishes Working Groups (WG) to create and implement innovative ideas and best solutions in the energy field;
  2. Dispatches member companies on missions holds business forums in target countries, and participates in international energy exhibitions;
  1. Compile and publish a database of Japanese smart energy products and technologies. The data is accessible online and available in PDF. The current issue has 95 items classified into eight categories (factory, industries, office & building, residence, construction, transportation & logistics, power generation & distribution, renewable energy, and energy solutions).
