Japan Cooperation Center for Petroleum and Sustainable Energy (JCCP)

Brief outline

JCCP carries out Human Resource Development programs in Japan and overseas by welcoming foreign experts from and dispatching Japanese experts to oil & gas-producing countries upon request to disseminate Japan’s advanced technology and practical experiences and deepen the understanding of Japan. The expert services programs include JCCP’s programs and programs carried out by member companies with JCCP support. Policy Dialogue (Follow-up Meetings) with Executives of Oil-producing Countries

JCCP executives hold policy dialogues with top executives in oil-producing countries by personally visiting and holding follow-up meetings with directors and executive officers in oil-related governmental agencies and national oil companies in oil-producing countries.

The JCCP International Symposium has been held annually since JCCP’s founding, with the participation of energy experts and management officers from oil-related institutions in oil-producing countries, who are invited to Japan to discuss current oil supply issues and their solutions with experts in the downstream sectors of Japan’s oil industry.

The Joint GCC-Japan Environment Symposium is held annually to strengthen cooperative relations between the GCC countries and Japan through exchanging information among experts in the environmental field in the relevant countries.
